Design, manufacture, prove out

Design & planning. In-house engineers translate the drawing into a tool concept — tolerances, machine interface and expected cycle time — before anything is cut.

Manufacture. PCD and carbide tooling ground to ≤3 µm on diameter, under the same roof as design and QA.

Prove out. Cycle time optimisation and statistical parameters (Cpk) delivered with the tool, not after a support ticket.

Special heads, faster changeover

Off-the-shelf geometry doesn't always fit the operation. We integrate and modify a wide variety of cutting tools to a client's requirements, building special cutting heads where a complex operation calls for one. Our base clamping systems are compatible with a wide range of tooling machines, so changeover between jobs is faster on the shop floor.

Inside a multi-step tool

A single MPI tool collapses rough bore, semi-finish, chamfer and fine ream into one pass — fewer setups, fewer tolerance stack-ups, shorter cycle time. Every insert position is set and verified on our own gauging systems before the tool leaves the shop floor.

Precision tooling, one roof

Mac Precitec India Private Limited manufactures PCD tools, fine boring tools, ISO tools, tool holding systems and setting fixtures for the automobile, aerospace, defence, medical, power generation and machine-building sectors. Design, planning, PCD manufacturing and quality assurance all sit inside the same 15,000 sq ft facility in Peenya — a drawing becomes a proved-out tool faster here than at a shop that outsources any of those steps. Tooling built in Peenya also ships to export customers in Malaysia, Thailand, the USA and Singapore.

Design and manufacturing engineers with three decades of combined experience in the cutting tool industry — tool design and development, tool manufacturing, and tooling application. The tools we build are proved out by the people who designed them, not handed off between departments.

Our infrastructure

Everything is under one 15,000 sq ft roof: manufacturing, design and planning, PCD manufacturing and quality assurance. Nothing is outsourced between buildings, which keeps lead times short and changes cheap.

The shop floor runs CNC turning, CNC milling, CNC wire EDM and CNC grinding centres, with a Zoller tool presetter and Diebold gauges for tool setting and inspection.
